Elan Valley

Stopped off at the Elan Valley on the way home. We were surprised that no water was coming over any of the dams today after all the rain we’ve had.
Swifts were swooping over the water catching insects, I tried photographing them but even with a 2000th shutter speed I was struggling to get them sharp.
Beautiful weather, it was hot in the sun.
