Tiny Tuesday ...

... Puffin.

OMG!  What another fantastic day we had!

It started with a walk on the beach of the North Sea near Bamburgh Castle.  Then it was on to Seahouses as we had reservations for the afternoon boat to Farne Island.

And ...WOW ... what a time we had, too.  The boat trip took us around to all the other islands off the coast of Seahouses and then dropped us off on Farne Island where there are so many birds it was recommended that we wear hats!  Thankfully these weren't needed!

So many different birds are currently living on these islands ... Debbi you would have been in heaven!  We saw eider ducks, black-headed gulls, guillemots, razor-bills, European shags and so many more.  

I had lots of pictures to choose from but my favorites were of the puffins.  The one featured in my main and the one in Extras are my favorites.   I liked the fact that the puffin in Extras is looking straight at me.  When I return home I will be putting together a collage of some of the other beautiful birds ... when I have more time and the collage software that I use.
