Allonby

There are oyster beds at Allonby so I suppose the Oystercatchers know that they’re looking in the right place. Or was it the other way round?
We finally got to see the Roman museum at Maryport today. It’s an interesting place and especially good on a sunny day. After Maryport we went up the coast to Allonby and I tried out my new lens. The oystercatchers were miles away and this is cropped so not too bad.
