Photo society this evening. A powerful presentation by Stuart Freedman of his work. Particularly from various war zones that he has covered. Very powerful and sometimes shocking. 

At the same time I was entranced by the sunset lighting up the fire escape.

Then in the second half a lighter look at his series of images of the east end tradition of eel and pie shops. Such super photos I bought the book.

A terrific evening and I was ready for a glass in the pub afterwards.
