IMPACT's Jibon Tari floating hospital

IMPACT's floating hospital, the Jibon Tari (Boat of Life).

The hospital boat provides a lifeline for underserved communities in Bangladesh; dispensing medical care, physiotherapy and surgery to reverse disabling conditions.

Last year almost 4,500 men, women and children had their sight, hearing or movement restored, or cleft lip repaired.

Local health workers are trained and health education delivered to remote communities, leaving behind skills and knowledge once the boat moves on.
