Happy Fourth of July
A busy day. The hubby left with trailer in tow to go help the kids load up more stuff. Started out preparing food, sour cream potato salad, oriental coleslaw, huge batch of brownies, slicing and dicing cheese and pepperoni, took out bowls for chips and dip. That done, did water changes on both saltwater tanks. The uncle came and we sat and talked while we waited for the crew to get back here. They made it about 4:00 pm and then the unloading began. This time with more boxes, but also their appliances - washer and dryer - refrigerator. By the time they finished unloading and setting up beds, it was 9:00pm.
They were tired and starved. They ate, watched some neighborhood fireworks, sitting outside and then by 11:30 they went back to their first night of sleeping in their new home. I will recall this Fourth of July as finally having my family close!!
Hope everyone had a great day today!
