Beacon Tarn

An overdue walk with VW this morning.  We parked at Water Yeat and walked to Beacon Tarn - I was here a couple of weeks ago when walking one stage of the Cumbria Way and it looked very different today.

It was very boggy walking around the lake and so misty we couldn't see the Coniston Fells.  VW is a wild swimmer and she took to the water for 10 minutes or so.  She said it was warmer than Windermere.

I had been grappling with a issue with JH and half way through the walk it lifted and I feel so much better now.

Coffee at Bakehouse Born and Bread completed a very good morning.
