Bath Time

Mrs Blackbird had just finished splashing around in the birdbath, throwing most of the water outside the bowl….and after careful preening she was ready to face the world again…then flew off into the bush behind!! I have since refilled the bowl..

We had a trip to a garden centre this morning..which fortunately involved a bacon bap and some coffee - before parting with a shed load of money for compost and plants…

Mrs madwill has been busy outside this afternoon …she has a friend who is a garden planner / maintainer coming later to help with some ideas for the garden…seems a bit like tidying up the house before the cleaning staff arrive ….hey ho :-)

I just get on and mow the grass/weed/moss patches and dig holes as required…that is the limit of my gardening interest/ability…
