An early walk to the shops then a day of gardening. Lots of bending in the first session so later I stuck to jobs that could be done sitting or kneeling.

The aquilegias are opening. Many shades of pinks and purples. Don’t know what’s caused the marks on some petals. I’ll blame the weather.

A robin was often nearby. Perhaps I should have kept a camera beside me rather than waiting until the work was finished before I looked for a blip.
