Solid to be? (widwed080524)
My grass cutting colleague Tony is away for 3 weeks so this morning went on getting the churchyard cut to a state where I can look after it for the next two weeks, before I'm away too. There is a wedding in mid June so it will need to be tidy for that, but a week of neither of us should be ok.
It was also 'all the bins' week so we had the delights of four bin collection teams touring the village in turn - they are very well organised and definitely of the just get on with it school - everyone else was being suitably patient as they manoeuvred the trucks through the lanes.
They reverse down our cul de sac so we are treated to the wonderfully RP vehicle revarsing staaand cleahr warning announcements ... four times, starting at 07:00 :-)
In the afternoon we went up to Hidcote as the recent sunshine had brought things to life - including the number of visitors.
My blip is a newly built woven hedge around one of the more wild parts of the garden - not quite solid yet but as time goes by it should get other plants growing into and through it to make a strong barrier and some shelter for wildlife.
Edit: Brash Hedge? (see Miranda1008's comment below)
Thanks to Bobsblips for hosting and organising Wide Wednesday.
