Uptonfolks

We met through folk dance & music so when there's a folk festival on the doorstep it would seem obvious to go along.  We've been along before, mostly to meet up with past dancing friends, but the event has never really excited me.

We went in this evening along with friends/guests R&D.  Walked the length of Upton - four times in all - looking for either the supposed pub sessions or to get into the (according to the programme) open concert.  

The concert had been changed to Weekend-Ticket-Only, as was the one ceilidh (and we remain unconvinced that any ceilidh is worth nigh on £80 to get in).  

Eventually we found a moderately OK session but I didn't stay long.
