Wild Garlic ( Allium ursinum )

Clickychick's woodland garden is carpeted,like many woodlands, with wild garlic.  We have never planted any it appeared by its own means.  I suspect seeds carried down stream when the beck beside our garden floods.  The garlic is in great demand we have provided people with a start from as far apart as Edinburgh and Sheffield.  We have even given Chefs some to start their own clumps.

Wild Garlic has many common names, Ramsons, Bear Leek, cowleek and buckrams being some of them.  Looking at the scientific names clearly at some point in the past bears came into the thinking.
