Afternoon walk at Pioneer Park

After I wrote my blip last night, we had a string of heavy thunderstorms pass through, with lots of lightening, thunder and torrential downpours. Fortunately, there weren’t any recorded tornadoes, and we maintained power, and things were dying down by the time we went to bed, about midnight. This morning started out fairly sunny, but clouds moved in during the afternoon, and the skies were heavy and the air humid, by the time we went for a walk around Pioneer Park late afternoon.
R had another check up back at the Eye institute early afternoon, and the specialist said all looked good, but to keep taking the eye drops, though twice a day rather than three times a day, and see him again in 4 months.
Other than that, it was a day for Duolingo, and some housework - cleaning out the fridge, and starting some Spring cleaning in our bedroom.
I’m feeling ready now to relax in front of the TV and do some knitting!
