Remnant

The remnants of my birthday, from a month ago, danced around my lounge as I took a ten minute power nap in the gap between my split shift today. 

Today I was grateful for: 
* landing on the same page
* open, honest, vulnerable conversation and huge hugs 
* having Emergency googly eyes for a situation requiring just that.
