Big Day

Today was all about getting Mum to her heart scan appt at Addenbrookes. We were both up and ready in good time so had a quick video call withThe Boy.

2 bus rides later we’d arrived - only 90 minutes early - and found somewhere to have lunch before the appt.

The scan lasted a good 45mins - nothing urgently untoward discovered.

The plan to check out the Covid vaccinations place and have a Wagamamas fell apart when Mum’s foot started hurting so we nipped in to Waitrose to grab something for tea and caught the bus back (stubborn woman wouldn’t let me get us an Uber).

My niece was at football training so it was too nice an evening to miss going for a walk to watch them. A great end to the day.
