Finally

I had lunch in the garden today which was, in itself, a total delight. Then I noticed that my first yellow rose was coming into bloom. Overjoyed.

I feel human again now that I’m not wearing 20 layers every day and constantly looking out towards grey skies. Apologies for the last 7 months of moaning. Normal service will resume again in November.

I went to the gym after work which was hard work after a 1am bedtime. I’d love to have been running instead but I’m trying desperately hard to be sensible and rest the calf. Fell asleep before the end of Race Across the World.
