St Johns Wort

A 'weed' that you may not take much notice of, St Johns Wort goes by many folk names, and is used by herbalists to treat depression.
It's a bit scruffy, but always interesting as there's around a dozen species, all similar at first glance, but the differ in stem shape, the patterns of the little black dots on the leaves & petals.
This one is Perforate St Johns Wort Hypericum perforatum from my garden. Hold the leaves up to the light, and you'll see tiny pinholes scattered across the surface.
