Should Aviators Marry?

The Banffshire Journal of November 22nd 1913 carries an article which argues that until aviation becomes safer, perhaps aviators should refrain from the act of marriage and the raising of families. In the opinion of the writer of the piece "in an astonishingly short time, aviation will be no more dangerous than driving a motor car!"
Quite ironic really when you consider that the first war to end all wars was about to claim the lives of quite a few fliers indeed.
My cat Tommy is carefully considering what to make of it all.
