Wearmouth Bridge

It is very hot and sunny in the north east today, which I love. Had a great day, starting off with breakfast in Sunderland Minster, followed by a walk over the Wearmouth Bridge (see blip), along the river to the newly refurbished National Glass Centre, which gives a great history to glass making in the north east. Did you know that every piece of Pyrex in the world has been made in Sunderland.

Spent the afternoon in Easington (saw the streets that Billy Elliot was filmed in) and Seaham. The north east of England is a great place.
