South coast
At last the sea mist cleared and we had the warm sunshine that many of you have been enjoying. We drove down to the south Cornish coast. First stop was National Trust Trelissick Gardens where the rhododendrons and azaleas were in full flower. Then across the King Harry Ferry and on to St Mawes, where there was a classic car rally on the quayside. My favourite was the Morris Minor (first extra). My first boyfriend who had a car had a Morris Minor, so I have a soft spot for them. There were some much more prestigious marques, and I enjoyed making a typology (second extra - thanks Claire for the Camversation link) of the name plates.
It's a bit late to post it but we had a lovely sunset last night (third extra).
