Ålesund

Today's main stop was in Ålesund - known for being an Art Deco city.  

The old wooden city was burnt to the ground in 1904 (-ish), and the new city was rebuilt very quickly (not using wood!) in the style of the time.

The weather wasn't great(!) today but eventually the rain did stop.  In the main picture you'll see a viewpoint on the top of a convenient hill, the extra is the view looking down from said viewpoint.
