Ruby Throated Hummingbird

I cleaned my hummingbird feeders and then cleaned my fountain. I scrubbed the birdbath too. There’s always something to do outside.

I think it was back in March when I saw my first hummingbird for this year but it wasn’t until today that I was able to get a picture.

They have been so quick, never staying at the feeders but a second or two. It has been so frustrating trying to capture them. So glad I was finally able to get this guy, not once, but twice! (See extra)

Jim’s mum came down from Beaufort to see him today and she came over to see me before she headed home again. It was nice to visit with her.
