Another day, another race

Bank Holiday Mondays aren't supposed to be like this. 
Torrential rain for the second race in 3 days. This was just a little 10k, but what a 10k it was. Hilly, over muddy fields that were mostly covered with running water.
A tough slog for sure.

Hats off to the chap in the extra. 85 years old, and running just a few days after his wife passed away (they used to do the event together). I'm sure he much appreciated the great company he had on the way round.
