A corner in Leith
50 Coburg St, marked Couper St. Built by Melrose tea merchants as a warehouse in about 1900. History
Hazy sunshine most of the day, wind from the West. Two lots of contractors in the early afternoon, juggling access from the lane with a moving van.
After they were done we walked down to Leith, getting ice cream from Crolla. At least six eider males in the river there. To the swing bridge - found a small flock of martins, at least 15 - and a single swan seemingly asleep on the nest in the corner. Back up by tram.
