Vanishing stag beetles

Well I only had my iPhone with me and a Labrador that wanted to eat it ( the beetle not the phone)
By the time I had juggled dogs and phone the beetle decided to scuttle off into the bushes so I only got his blurred backside.
Tip for would be nature photographers: take a decent cera and leave the dogs at home.
