The Great Sofa Search...

Begins :-))

We headed to Sterling Furniture store at Tillicoultry and had lunch there (two rather lovely toasties - cheese and ham for me, haggis, mozzarella and chilli jam for D :-) then the sofa hunt began.

We currently have an 8 seater (in reality a six seater) corner sofa and a chair in the garden room but want to replace them with a three seater sofa, two seater and chair.  I am happy to report that our first foray was successful in that we saw two sofa ranges that fit the bill.  

Still have J Lewis, M&S, and Sofa.com to investigate so it will be a wee while before a final decision is made.

It was such a beautiful day.  The first day that felt like summer proper :-) The drive to Tillicoultry via Glendevon was lovely and the view of the Strathearn Valley towards Gleneagles was beautiful as ever on the way back.

Once home we sat in the garden drinking coffee and eating delicious ginger thin biscuits and of course I crocheted.  It was so lovely sitting in warm sunshine.  It has been a long winter!
