The City of Arts and Sciences

We walked through the Turia Garden and then spent the morning exploring this fantastic complex designed by Valencian architect, Santiago Calatrava. We were particularly impressed by our guided tour of the Palau de Les Arts.
Home for a late lunch and short siesta before heading over to the Carmen area (to take in some street art). We also climbed the Cuart Towers, visited the Botànic Garden and then watched the Falleras dancing in the Plaza de La Virgen for a religious festival. I think my guests are on their knees and we all need a rest day tomorrow!
