Tea cups

We got these from a tea shop called Tasty Corner, which was on the corner of Mandeville Gardens and Anil Mitra Road in Kolkata. They sold delicious Bengali sweets as well. Often, you'd ask for directions with the newish Bengali name and people would look at you blankly. Then they'd go "Oh! You mean Lake View Road!"

You stand at a tea stall and drink your tea out of these and then throw them away. But we couldn't bear to throw such lovely things into a bin. It's the safest way of drinking tea, no risk of germs from cups not washed properly.
