Sand Sadness

I went golfing today with a few friends and played pretty well(for me) on the front nine.
When we got to #5 I saw the above in the sand trap that borders the front of the green all the way across.

Someone must have become very frustrated about not being able to escape the pit and took their anger out on the poor, defenceless rake.   Some people have no kooth at all.
