Day 6 - Independence Day!

We decided to go to Busch Gardens for Independence Day.

This was a first visit for everyone (except me who went a couple of years ago when I was in the area on business).

Its actually a great park and a bit more laid out than the Universal parks.

They also have a better selection of good 'ol fashioned roller coasters.

Plus lots of zoo type thingies - great fun in with the Kangeroos and Lories (pictured). I think they like each other.

We stayed the full day and were knackered. We were surprised that the park was not too busy, but again, rain interrupted things in the afternoon.

We stayed right to the end for the fireworks, and everyone fell asleep in the car again.....
