Home grown

In Norfolk, we had to import some boulders to make our "boulder bed".  Here, our landscapers have sourced three good sized ones from the alongside the "ditch" within our garden.  Today, Joe manoeuvred a couple of them into place in one of the newly created beds.  I took a photo of them in place, but reckon I'll save posting a view of them till they're a bit more landscaped.

In other news, our house martins are back.  We saw them examining the remains of the nest - see extra,  You can just imagine them twittering to each other about the lack of respect other birds show for someone's home!

We've started filling the pond - taking it slowly, as our water comes from our own well, and we have no idea what rate it fills.  Unfortunately, looks like this weekend is the end of the good weather, and we're expecting rain most of next week, but hopefully we can get our pump installed between the showers.
