Join the Aurora club

We went to bed last night knowing there was a good chance of an Aurora, but we never see it here because of light pollution. After midnight I was still awake and checked my phone to find I’d had dozens of missed calls from my neighbour. After getting over the heart attack of thinking there was something wrong I checked a photo she had sent of the Aurora happening over our heads! I shot of bed (as fast as my decrepit bones would let me) and went out in my dressing gown with phone in hand! Neighbour said ‘finally’ and we spent the next hour or so watching the display. Scared sis to death by shouting her up too :-)
