Travelling Hopefully

The 7 of us (4 people and 3 dogs) travelled up to the Lake District ready for the event.
The GL3D is three days of hiking/fell-running between electronically-recorded checkpoints.
There were 740 people and 70 dogs in this year's event!
There are different levels of course to choose for each day - with varying distances and, more importantly, amounts of ascent.

We were late by the time Luna and I were picked up and got later on the M6.
The hotel kitchen shut at 8:00 and we eventually got there at 9:00 after registering and dropping off weighed drybags at the event centre. But they had managed to serve us fish and chips!
