Common Butterwort
A lovely evening last night for Ginny's birthday and we ate royally in the Creamery in Kilcrohane, no sign of the aurora as we drove home though. What amazing photos have been uploaded hither and thither - we might venture out tonight if it's not too cloudy.
Still catching up with myself but what a gorgeous day. I had a quick yomp over the mountain to see if the bog flowers were out yet , Bog bean and bog cotton blooming whitely but I always love seeing the delicate blues of the butterworts with their striking zinging yellow green rosetted leaves. They're carnivorous too, And very small.
