Iris

This is a different variety from one which I blipped a few weeks ago. There is a whole patch of these and this is the first to flower. I wonder if anyone can help me identify the extra. A solitary plant which flowers about this time of year and then the foliage dies off. A friend thought it might be a wild Gladiola, but I have my doubts.
