Pirates’ Dinner

The cast and organisers of the Pirates of Penzance had celebratory dinner tonight. 
If The Black Horse wasn’t closed we would have had it there but Ian (the elusive builder) and his wife Jane decided to organise it and have the meal in the village hall. They got an outside caterer to do 3 courses and it was really good. We had a lovely evening. Jane and Ian and their daughter and young grandson waited on at the tables and afterwards we had a game of Play Your Cards Right. Then 3 of the women did a demo of their line dancing combo.
It was so lovely to get together again.
Other than that we had a quiet day and took Bella up Haw Lane to check on the wee sapling which is looking very happy.
