Grasmere

Most of the day seemed to disappear on the phone and in a bit of paralysis about my upcoming course but I made a start on clearing the triffids sprouting broccoli which has tree trunks for stems and has bolted quicker than I can keep up with it. Not sure I’ll bother with it again.

At 5ish I headed off for a late walk and ended up at Great How initially and then went on to Grasmere which was nice and quiet at 7ish.
I’ll probably delete the extras but the bluebells are going over quickly in this weather and the greenery and Bracken are shooting up fast so I wanted to make the most of them. The scent was heavenly, along with frothy hawthorn too. Also extra of a frothy bog bean.
