Keeping cool
Thank goodness for air-conditioning! It was 85 degrees when I left dialysis, but after letting the car air out a bit the air conditioning system kicked into gear and in no time I was comfortable. Then, when I got to Lex and Doug's house, I was able to enjoy their air conditioning. Lex and I schmoozed while Doug kindly put the new steering wheel cover in my car. It's wonderful - if I hold the section with the bumps, it's so thick that I can grip it comfortably and my hands don't slip on the steering wheel. I'm so glad I decided to get it.
I was able to watch track and field for almost my whole time at dialysis today, which was a treat. And tomorrow is Twinsday, celebrating my and Sarah's birthdays as well as Mothers' Day. Something else to feel good about.
