Aurora Borealis

I was so excited to capture this, even though I couldn't see it with the naked eye! So amazing to experience this for the first time and as far south as Dorset! Taken in the early hours of the morning. Yes, I was that crazy woman wearing a dressing gown whilst standing on a step ladder, tripod and camera up on the table, out on the balcony at 2 o'clock in the morning.....

I've been out in the hope of a second sighting this evening but, by midnight, it was a no show. Ah, well - at least I already had my blip.
