Landes du Marche

Another mile stone today. This one is very near my house. I knew it was there but it remained completely hidden until the bank had it's seasonal trim this week. Although it says five miles, this is certainly not as the crow flies. That would be about three miles. This distance would have been along the main roads of the time - From Landes du Marche, along the Braye road, up the Route Militaire and then Les Banques.
