Mum

There has been a large stretch of water opposite the Little Chapel probably for over a year now, because last year was so damp it never really went away. A couple of months ago there was a flurry of little ducks and they disappeared (under sad circumstances apparently) before they grew. There was a lot of people watching the "pond" over the last few days so I stopped lunchtime for a look. This picture is heavily cropped as they are some distance from the road. Sadly the pond is getting smaller as the warm weather is evaporating it away. Where they are in this picture was water a couple of days ago. On my way home several hours later the "pond" looked even smaller. I hope these little ones survive
