Steve Cram.

Did you know who is by the picture. 
I was at the Sunderland 10K and half Marathon today. I showed the image to my son in law and all his mates who had been running.  Most said TV athletics commentator. One said I think he used to be a runner back in the day. 
Steve Cram was a world record holder for the mile. Won numerous gold medals in the Commonwealth games and world championships.  He won a silver medal at the Olympic games. He could run a mile in about 3minutes 45 seconds. 
The man is a legend I told them. He has records for 800m, 1500m mostly.
Extra is me and my 4 month old grandson getting a quick cuddle before they return to Scotland.
