Family Portrait

We enjoyed a lovely evening last night with A and her flat mate I - eating fajitas whilst watching Dr Who (quite enjoyed it - the stories were OTT but the new doctor and his assistant are good) and re-runs (for me and T) of University Challenge (not any easier than first time round) before heading out just before 11 to look for the Aurora . 

It was cloudy as we made our way up to Kinnaird  but the cloud gradually dissipated as the sky grew darker. Unfortunately at the same time the alert levels dropped from red to amber and then yellow and we were unsuccessful in our hunt.  However we enjoyed our late night walk and star gazing.  

We are currently clearing out our garage and A looked through some boxes of her stuff before she and I left. She came across the picture she drew of me and T many, many years before.

It's been a fun weekend, all the better for the unplanned sleepover by A & I.
