Gazania
We didn't go and try to see the aurora last night after all, as the app said the chances of seeing it were slim. Even though it went back up to 'red' later the numbers indicating the strength of the aurora were much lower than the previous night. We live in a very dark area so had a look out in the garden a few times through the late evening and night but didn't see anything.
Today was lovely; warm and sunny. We had a few jobs to do in the garden including planting a few new plants we'd bought; some bedding, a yew to replace one in a border which had died, and a couple of tiny £1 Skimmias which will be a bargain if they grow to full size. This was one of the bedding plants; a Gazania which was really enjoying today's sun.
