Family branch

Spending a few days with my sister. Here she is in conversation with her grandson, my great-nephew D, who was doing some gardening for her. He will be 17 next month and is in the last term of his first year at college studying drama. Extending our stay a little so that we can use two spare tickets to see him perform in a musical rewrite of The Tempest at the local theatre. Sadly, the tickets are in his paternal granddad's name, but he died suddenly last week. D was so pleased we're able to extend our stay and see him in the play. I've only seen video'd snippets of his acting skills, but enough to be impressed and I have high hopes of a great performance to come. He's very much of the 'keep calm and carry on' frame of mind, bless him.
