Fountains and Frescoes

Spent the day getting oriented to our new home for the next month. Quaint and quiet town, relative to Lucca. So far, so good. There are nearby fountains supplying tasty drinking water, not as tasty as Lucca’s mountain spring water, but better than tap. Madonna is ubiquitous…above the drinking fountain or on the ceiling of a pedestrian tunnel…she graces many locations besides the inside of every church.
