Teatime

I’m being very lazy with my blipping, this is the single photo I took today.

S cooked proper Sunday lunch, pot-roasted chicken with onions, potatoes, and garlic. It seems like ages since we sat down together for a proper meal at home. Later on I got a couple of my cherry and almond scones out of the freezer and we had them for tea with cherry jam and the lovely thick, golden crème fraîche I bought in the producers’ coop. Delicious!

Right on schedule the predicted storm arrived, but moved on very quickly. Just enough rain to dampen the soil.
