Mother's Day

We used to have a picnic at Gasworks on Mother’s Day.   Thought we’d do nothing today but surprise!  Peter (who is still sort of recovering from the bad bug) and Maple came over with the “cool Mom bouquet”….put it in the extras…. He and H  are discussing the plans for fixing the plumbing at the island when we get there in a week.   Eric will drop by tomorrow  (with Bean, maybe) as he’s stuck on the Eastside with Anne with a bridge that’s closed between us.    That’ll be nice…they are good “boys. “  I”m blessed.  

The other extra that was going to be the blip.   A slow walk on a beautiful Mother’s Day.   These are new steps  built next to a large residential development ……we thought they looked finished….Nope..get to the top and there is a fence.  Fortunately I didn’t go all the way to the top!  At least 4 new benches too!  (lower right, unfinished)   Exciting.
