Door Key

We all have one of these, (except if you have gone digital !!). Today I had a very funny situation with a door key. My daughter had to take her car to mechanic. Her partner took her to work, then took my grandson to school. All very normal.
This afternoon I picked up daughter from work, and did the school run. We got back to their home and they not realised neither had a door key- both inside house. Only option was a very old lockbox which had not been used for years- but did have a door key inside. Couldn’t find any tools but a small axe for kindling in woodshed. My daughter set to removing lockbox from fence, then tried to open it. It hadn’t been used for long time, and they intended to replace it. Solid metal made for an interesting demolition. Axe did job!!!!!!!!
Key found and entered house. We all stopped and burst out laughing. After spending half an hour breaking into lockbox, the back door was sitting unlocked !!!!!! My grandson had forgotten to lock back door.
