Lin and Graham

MrRIU got up very late and I spent several hours first thing reading. It felt rather indulgent when there were many chores needing attention but it felt needed too after a busy few days.

I then headed to Frinton for lunch.  The service was very slow and we waited for 60- 90  minutes between each course, choosing to go back to  Lins for coffee rather than another long wait.  Graham will be 80 this year. It doesn't seem like 10 years since the garden party at their home in Writtle to celebrate 70.  They are very happy in the new house and within their new community, having joined several groups. Lin is also volunteering at a charity shop again so all is good.
